Hefei Chemical Fertilizer Plant was built in 26th May 1958 through sanction by Anhui province government, it is one of thirteen national synthetic ammonia plants that annual output is 2000 tons, and it is also only one that nitrogenous fertilizer enterprise in Anhui province. Formal put into production in June 1961.
